Hope ~

It is HOPE that sustains us
When life seems too tough.
HOPE for a brighter tomorrow,
The HOPE that in time
Things can and will get better.

With God, there is always HOPE
Because He has the power
To change things for the better.
Tough times are opportunities
For spiritual growth. If God is for me,
It doesn't matter who is against me.
But if God is against me,
It doesn't matter who is for me. Cling tightly to HOPE,

Welcome Home Baby Aliyah Grace ~

May his face shine on you, and be gracious to you ~

Numbers 6:24
The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine upon you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.

The promise of tomorrow
and the hope of dreams come true...
that's still a part of you...
The wonder of a miracle
My beautiful Aliyah...
there is so much found in the touch
of holding a grandchild's hand...Gogo ~

My Precious Baby Girl ~

My Precious Grandchild
Small and sweet with eyes that shine
Blessed be this precious gift of mine
Ten tiny fingers, Ten such tiny toes
You shall never know a life of woes
Your life I will hold as I do my own
As Jesus does protect your soul
with my prayers each night "Thy Will Be Done"
A new life you have given though to small to comprehend
Smiles with hope to be carried on shoulders so small and fragile
Never to worry, for I will carry them for you my Precious Grandchild

Child Of My Child ~

Child of my child
Heart of my heart.
Your smile bridges
The years between us...
I am young again, discovering
The world through your eyes.
You have the time to listen
and I have the time to spend,
Delighted to gaze at familiar,
Loved features made new in you again.
Through you, I see the future.
Through me, you'll see the past.
In the present, we'll love one another
As long as these moments last.

Prayer for Aliyah ~

Oh Lord, I do not ask for much,
Eternal beauty, or youth, or such.
Just give me a little hand to hold,
And I'll forget that I'm growing old.
I do not ask for cloudless skies,
A life that's free from tears and sighs.
Just give me a little face to kiss,
And anxious moments will turn to bliss.
For what is there, really, that means so much
As little hands that reach and touch,
As little eyes that search and see
Only the best in fragile me?
So let me grow more loving and wise
By looking at life through their wide eyes.
For through these little ones, you have given
This grateful grandmother a glimpse of Heaven.
