Today I choose life. Every morning when I wake up I can choose joy, happiness, negativity, pain... To feel the freedom that comes from being able to continue to make mistakes and choices - today I choose to feel life, not to deny my humanity but embrace it. ~ Kevyn Aucoin

Healing ~
Healing ~ Solitude is not an absence of energy or action, as some believe, but is rather a boon of wild provisions transmitted to us from the soul. In ancient times, purposeful solitude was both palliative and preventative. It was used to heal fatigue and to prevent weariness. It was also used as an oracle, as a way of listening to the inner self to solicit advice and guidance otherwise impossible to hear in the din of daily life. ~ Clarissa Pinkola Estes

The Mystery ~
The Mystery At Hand
Once, in my lack of understanding,
it was my belief that the mystery
was somewhere in the distance.
But in time I came to realize
that the mystery was at hand,
in the next raindrop that fell,
in the next rainbow that followed,
in the next puppy wagging its tail,
in the next scent of the rose,
in the next infant that smiled,
in the next mother that wept,
in the next bird that took wing,
in the next stream that gurgled,
in the next act of forgiveness,
in the next song that was sung,
in the next moment of silence,
in the next rising of the sun,
in the next shadow on the wall,
in the next breezes that blew,
in the next gleam in loving eyes,
in the next heart that fluttered,
in the next poem that was penned,
in the next ear that hearkened,
in the next hand reaching out,
in the next prayer that was said.

L'amour existe encore
If love still exist ~
If love still exists,
Hold me even tighter
If love still exists
Near to you when I fall asleep
If love still exists
Hold me even tighter
No one
Has ever known how to tell me
The words of love
The words of the heart
Something like "I love you"
Tonight
Life seems beautiful to me
Love swiftly
Landed on me and you
If love still exists
It looks like your twenty years
Like the sun which tenderly
Makes us forget the time
If love still exists
Near to you when I fall asleep
If love still exists
Hold me even tighter
Hold me even tighter
If love still exists
Near to you when I fall asleep
If love still exists
Hold me even tighter
No one
Has ever known how to tell me
The words of love
The words of the heart

I am a Jew ~
I AM A JEW
by Franta Bass
I am a Jew and will be a Jew forever.
Even if I should die from hunger,
never will I submit.
I will always fight for my people,
on my honor.
I will never be ashamed of them,
I give my word.

Even if I should die from hunger,

I will always fight for my people,
on my honor.
I will never be ashamed of them,
I give my word.
I am proud of my people,
how dignified they are.
Even though I am suppressed,
I will always come back to life.
how dignified they are.
Even though I am suppressed,
I will always come back to life.
familiar face
Looking out of the window,
as the sun slowly hides beneath the horizon,
the darkness creeps and crawls its way
upon the land;
i have been waiting for years,
haunted by memories,
going round and round,
in this vicious circle of life;Survive
as the music fades away,
i look around to spot any familiar faces,
it seems i am here all alone,
trying to make sense of this crazy thing called life;
how long does it take?
to solve this puzzle called life?
how much more longer,
if only i knew!
